No respect for life. This was reported in the local media:

Someone has shot and killed as many as 30 buffalo on a private ranch and the Park County Sheriff’s Office is trying to figure out who.

Park County Sheriff Fred Wegener was notified about the slain buffalo on Wednesday, at about noon. The tipster said several buffalo in the area of Eleven Mile Reservoir had been shot.

Officers talked to several people in the area and determined that the buffalo had been hunted on a private ranch. The exact number of slain buffalo has not been determined but Wegener said it could be us much as 30.
